STAR Autism supports education teams serving children with autism through curriculum, tools, and classroom resources. The work with CoPilot focused on using AI to help teams move from manual planning and scattered support tasks into more repeatable workflows for curriculum ideation, standards-aligned materials, scheduling, and coaching.
Education teams often need to create, adapt, and coordinate resources across many classrooms, educators, and student needs. The challenge was to make AI useful inside that real work without flattening the human judgment that teachers and specialists bring to every learner.
CoPilot needed to help the team identify where AI could reduce repetitive planning effort, support better internal coordination, and give educators more useful starting points while keeping review and expertise in the loop.
We built AI-supported workflows for curriculum ideation, standards-aligned classroom materials, educator scheduling, and coaching support.
The work focused on practical AI helpers that generate useful first drafts, structure educator inputs, and support consistent planning across teams. Instead of treating AI as a standalone tool, the workflows were shaped around the moments where classroom teams already make decisions.
The result is a set of repeatable patterns STAR Autism can apply across content, coordination, and enablement as teams continue serving educators and learners.
Teams get clearer first drafts and reusable starting points for curriculum work.
AI-supported workflows help organize standards-aligned content creation.
Scheduling and support workflows reduce scattered manual effort.
AI assists planning while classroom experts stay in control.
